We have a very high dog trainer to client ratio with 5 helpers in our Beginner Class. Bertie Dog Training Club strongly recommends that your puppy is vaccinated against Kennel Cough prior to bringing him/her to the club for puppy training . If you believe your dog has got Kennel Cough, please consult your vet for advice before bringing the dog to the club. Vets in Leicester and Market Harborough have reported an increase in incidence of KC and warn of the dangers to puppy and elderly dogs. If you are in doubt contact us for advice and to discuss a possible home visit. Your dog's health and welfare as well as those of our members is paramount.

Bertie Dog Training club members are also warned against applying methods they observe on all television programmes which in most cases will not be suitable to the age or breed of your dog. In the vast majority of cases all your dog will require is understanding and time to assimilate the methods of training you will learn at our club. In the worst case scenario if your dog presents challenging or aggressive behaviour then please ask for help and advice and we will point you in the right direction. If you are disabled or wheel chair bound there is easy access to the club. Alternatively a home visit can be arranged. (This service is nationwide).
