Meet the Bertie Dog Trainers
"Nij and his trainers have a very special gift of understanding dog language and then translating it to the owner, eventually teaching us to "think dog", enabling us to have a far more positive relationship with our pet".
Bertie was formed in 1990 by Nij and Jo Vyas and has gone from strength to strength. We work very closely with Veterinary Surgeons, Oadby and Wigston Borough Council, and various wildlife trusts, as well as schools and colleges.
We work as a team and are very proud of the success we have had in training a variety of dog breeds from all disciplines. Our members come, not only from Leicestershire but nationally and our club has grown from strength to strength thanks to the commitment of our members.
Our trainers are home grown and develop their training by coming through the ranks and training their own dogs. This ensures consistency of practice and a cohesive and professional approach in helping our clients.
At Bertie we have a high trainer-member ratio to enable us to offer individual, in depth, and quality training in a professional way.
